Email support@bulpara.com. Telling us the file type, roughly how long it was, and what you expected to happen usually gets to an answer in one reply.
It didn't find any cuts
Usually one of three things:
- The pauses are shorter than the floor. Anything under the "shortest pause to cut" setting is left alone as natural speech rhythm. Lower it.
- The background is nearly as loud as the speech. QuietCut says so when it detects this, and deliberately cuts nothing rather than guessing — a wrong cut is much worse than a missed pause. Try a cleaner recording, or the Tight preset.
- There genuinely isn't much silence. Try Tight.
It cut too much / too little
Every cut is shown before it happens — tap any one on the timeline to keep it. To change the overall behaviour, use the preset first, then Padding (how much speech is kept either side of each cut). Raising padding is the fix if anything ever feels clipped.
Where did my exported file go?
Wherever you sent it. Use Share or Save to Photos on the result screen. Past trims are listed under History, where you can share or save them again.
My file is too long
Free trims are up to 3 minutes. Premium raises that to 30 minutes. For anything longer, split the file first.
Managing your subscription
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device to change or cancel. Refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Changed device or reinstalled? Tap Restore Purchases in QuietCut's Settings.
Does it work offline?
Entirely. QuietCut makes no network requests at all — you can use it in airplane mode, and your recordings never leave your device. See the privacy policy.
